This is a simple way to freeze up seasonal pears and then use later to make a yummy Country Fresh Pear Pie (see recipe in my kitchen).

Ingredients
- 4 quarts pears, peeled/sliced thick
- 3 cups sugar
- 3 cups water
- - lemon juice
- - quart size freezer bag
How To Make cooked fresh pears

Step 1Cook sugar and water until it boils about 10 - 15 minutes. Add the pears and return to boil and let boil 3 minutes.

Step 2Take pears out of juice and cool separately. Add a few drops of lemon juice to the pears to them from turning brown.

Step 3Put 3/4 pears to 1/4 juice in a quart size freezer bag and freeze or use for Country Fresh Pear Pie!
