kitty’s apple crisp (one we always use)
This is a recipe that has been in our family for years. I think it actually came off of the side of a cake mix.When Fall arrives this is one of the first things that is baked in my kitchen.

Ingredients
- 2 cans 21 oz @ comstock apples
- 1 box duncan hines white cake mix
- 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- - whipped topping or vanilla ice cream
How To Make kitty’s apple crisp (one we always use)

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Arrange both cans of apples in ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.

Step 3Combine cake mix, brown sugar, melted butter and cinnamon. Stir til thoroughly blended. ( Mixture will be crumbly.)

Step 4Sprinkle crumbly mixture over the apples. Bake for 50-55 minutes or til lightened browned and bubbly. Serve warm with whipped topping or ice cream.
