Ingredients

apples peeled, cored and thinly sliced
2 Tbsp
lemon juice
1 c
rolled oats
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c
almonds, crushed
1/4 c
flour
2 tsp
cinnamon
2 c
butter chilled
2 c
milk chocolate chips
reynolds wrap nonstick foil

How to Make cinnamon almond apple crisp

Step-by-Step

  • 1Place 2 sheets of foil on a work surface one on top of the other to double the thickness. Place sliced apples in center of foil. Drizzle with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  • 2In bowl of electric mixer combine oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Beat in butter until mixture forms coarse crumbs. Stir in chocolate chips and almonds then spoon over apples.
  • 3Bring up sides of foil to form a sealed pouch. Bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes. Open pouch and spoon dessert into serving dishes. Serve with vanilla bean ice cream if desired.
