This recipe is one of my family's all-time favorite. Cherry Streusel is one of my most requested desserts.

Ingredients

21 oz. cherry pie filling
1/2 c
sugar
2 c
all-purpose flour
1 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c
butter, cold(cut in pats)
1 c
chopped pecans

How to Make CHERRY STREUSEL

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 375*
  • 2In a medium sauce pan add cherry filling and sugar. Bring to simmer on low heat. Set aside.
  • 3In a large bowl add flour, brown sugar and butter. Mix with a fork(I use my hands) until mixture is crumbly.
  • 4In a 13x9 inch baking dish, pour in cherry filling mixture. Then evenly sprinkle streusel topping on. Lastly, sprinkle on the nuts.
  • 5Bake for 20 minutes or until topping is golden brown and cherry filling begins to bubble.
