baking powder
3/4 c
1 can(s)
pitted cherries (red sour or dark sweet)
1/4* c
sugar * (1/2 c if u use sour cherries)

How to Make Cherry Madness


  • 1Melt butter in 9" square pan. In bowl, combine sugar, flour, baking powder and milk. Mix until well blended.
  • 2Pour over melted butter; DO NOT STIR.
  • 3Pour undrained cherries over batter; DO NOT STIR.
  • 4Sprinkle sugar over cherries; DO NOT STIR.
    Bake at 325 for 1 hour.
  • 5Serve warm with whipped cream, or chilled.
