I have had this recipe for many years. The nice thing about these cherry dumplings is that you don't bake them. Very easy to make!

Ingredients
- 1 - #2 can cherries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 - 3 tablespoons butter, melted
How To Make cherry dumplings

Step 1Boil the cherries and sugar. Batter: barely mix the flour, salt, milk, baking powder, sugar and butter. Don't break the lumps. Drop into cherries by spoonful. Cover and let simmer 15 minutes. Serve plain or with ice cream. Very good!
