My sister was kind enough to share this recipe. She served this as dessert, and I just had to have the recipe. A very easy dessert to put together! Light and refreshing! A real keeper! * Made with whipping cream, not Cool Whip!!

Ingredients

  • THE CRUST
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • THE FILLING
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • THE TOPPING
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

How To Make cherry cheese dessert

  • Step 1
To make the crust, mix graham cracker crumbs, butter, and sugar together. Press into a 7 x 11 glass baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees, for 8 minutes. Cool crust completely. (may refrigerate while preparing filling)
  • Step 2
To make the filling, in a large bowl mix the cream cheese and the powdered sugar together. In another bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  • Step 3
Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture. Then spread evenly across the graham cracker crust.
  • Topped with Comstock Simply Cherry Pie Filling. No artificial preservatives or artificial colors.
    Step 4
Next, spread the cherry pie filling evenly across the top. Best if made the day before, and refrigerate overnight.
  • Step 5
Cut into serving size portions. Enjoy!
