~ Cassies Individual Warm Stuffed Apples ~ So Easy
Oh my were these ever good! I had one lone Granny Smith apple that I wanted to do something with as it certainly wasn't enough for a pie. So, this is what I created. I will be making these often as we always have apples in the house.
The ingredients can easily be adjusted to your individual needs. My measurements are very close to what I used. I didn't measure as I often don't.
I hope you try them sometime, they were awesome with a scoop of ice cream.
I MADE JUST ONE STUFFED APPLE, DOUBLE OR TRIPLE INGREDIENTS TO YOUR NEEDS
1 Tbspeach - chopped pecans, brown sugar, raisins or dried cranberries
1/8 tspground cinnamon
2 Tbspmaple syrup - divided
1 largegranny smith or any tart apple
How to Make ~ Cassies Individual Warm Stuffed Apples ~ So Easy
- Place in a small microwave oven safe casserole. If the apple doesn't want to sit up straight, trim the bottom to flatten. Stuff with brown sugar mixture.
Drizzle with 1 tablespoon syrup. Cover and cook on high setting for 3 minutes, or until apple is tender. May take more or less time depending on the microwave. Mine took 3 minutes exactly.
While apple is cooking, heat remaining syrup and butter until butter is melted.
