- cinnamon powder, to taste
How to Make Caramelized Pineapple (Ananas Caramelizado)
- 1Melt the butter in saucepan at low heat.
- 2Add the sliced pineapple and sugar.
- 3Add the rum and let it flambe. Stir the contents together well.
- 4Once the pineapple reaches a golden color of caramelization, it is done.
- 5Place the pineapple into a serving dish and cover with cinnamon powder to taste. Serve while hot.
