Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 2 packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tbs. sugar
- 2 - large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 - granny smith apples(peeled, cored, and finely chopped)
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 jar caramel ice cream topping
- STREUSEL TOPPING
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup oatmeal, uncooked
- 1 stick butter, room temperature
How To Make caramel apple cheesecake bars

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees and line a 9x13 pan with aluminum foil.

Step 2In a medium bowl, combine flour and brown sugar; cut in butter until crumbly. Press evenly into pan and bake for 15 min or until lightly browned.

Step 3In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and stir in vanilla. Pour over crust.

Step 4In a small bowl, stir together apple pieces, 2 Tbs. sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Spoon evenly over cream cheese layer.

Step 5Streusel topping: Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and stir until well mixed. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture.

Step 6Bake for 30 min or until filling is set. Drizzle with caramel topping and serve. (Can also be topped by a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.)
