Saw Candy apples in the store and remembered how I loved them as a kid. I wondered if I could make an apple cobbler that would taste like a candy apple and I was very pleased with the outcome.Hope you like it!

Ingredients
- 1 box ready crust
- 10 to 12 medium apples, golden delicious
- 1 box candyapple kit
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
How To Make candy apple cobbler

Step 1You will need a 9 x 13 baking dish and to pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.Place one of the pie crusts in the baking dish and bake 8-10 minutes and set aside.

Step 2Peel and dice apples (fairly small dice)in to a bowl and add the flour. Stir until flour is mixed in well with apples. Prepare the packet from the candy apple kit as directed. Pour 1/2 of mixture in to apple/flour mixture and stir.Set aside remaing mixture but keep warm so it doesn't harden. Place mixture into baked, lower crust and cover with the other pie crust.Place pats of the butter on top crust.If you are not doing a lattice type crust, make some slits in the top crust to let steam escape.

Step 3Bake for 45 minutes then remove from oven and drizzle remaining candy apple mixture all over top crust. Return to oven and bake for another 15 minutes.

Step 4Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream!!
