I was out of cinnamon so I substituted apple and pumpkin pie spice and it worked out deliciously. I especially like the crust because it is buttery and crispy.

sliced peaches 15 oz
1 c
sugar
1 tsp
apple pie spice
1 tsp
pumpkin pie spice
1/8 tsp
nutmeg
1/4 c
sugar
3/4 stick
butter
1 roll
pillsbury refrigerated ready made pie crust or homemade pastry

NOTE: MAY VARY SPICE TO YOUR LIKING- 2 TSP APPLE SPICE SPICE, OR 2 TSP PUMPKIN PIE SPICE OR 2 TSP CINNAMON OR ANY COMBINATION

How to Make Butter Crisp Peach Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine 1 cup sugar with 2 cans peaches including syrup. Mix well and pour into 13 x 9 in (glass) baking dish.
  • 2Roll out crust and place over peaches.
  • 3Cut 3/4 stick butter into pats and place over crust.
  • 4Combine 1/4 cup sugar with spices and sprinkle over crust.
  • 5Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes.
