My sister Bon Bon's recipe, a apple crisp recipe made with Splenda that is delicious!!!

Ingredients

  • 6 or 7
    apples - mixed peeled and sliced
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1/8 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 c
    splenda
  • dash(es)
    salt
  • ·
    for topping
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp
    butter cut into flour
  • 1/2 c
    splenda brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • dash(es)
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted to drizzle on apple crisp before baking

How to Make Bon Bon's Apple Crisp

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Peel 6 or 7 apples of your choice and mix with lemon juice and stir while peeling and slicing apples. Coat the apples with the flour mixture. Spray a casserole dish with butter spray and pour coated apples in baking pan.
  2. Cut the butter into the cup of flour; add the Splenda brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt. Crumble topping over the apples then drizzle some melted butter onto the topping. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, remove foil cover and bake uncovered until bubbly and hot for about 20 minutes.
