blueberry cream cheese pie

I found this recipe in a Patchwork Potluck Cookbook last year. Since I love blueberries, I thought I would try this delicious pie. This is a delicious pie that is great to make anytime of the year. It is a refreshing dessert in the summer when you don't want to heat up the kitchen. I have used the Mixed Berry Pie Filling as well for a different taste. This pie is so good that it is usually gone in one night.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 - 9 inch graham cracker crust
  • 21 ounces can of blueberry pie filling or pie filling of your choice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

How To Make blueberry cream cheese pie

  • Step 1
    Blend together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.
  • Step 2
    Spread evenly into crust; set aside.
  • Step 3
    Combine pie filling and lemon juice; spoon over cream cheese mixture.( Berry Medley Pie Filling was used for all the photos for this pie.)
  • Step 4
    Chill at least 2 hours until ready to serve.
