Not your typical cobbler! This melt-in-your mouth, sweet treat is a crowd pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, unsalted
  • 1 3/4 cups self rising flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 1/4 cups white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 16 ounces blueberries, fresh
  • pinch salt
  • - juice from 1 lemon

How To Make blueberry cobbler

  • Step 1
    Pour 3/4 cup of sugar and 1 cup flour into a mixing bowl. Whisk in milk.
  • Step 2
    Melt half stick of butter. Pour into batter and mix well. Butter a 2 quart baking dish and pour in your batter.
  • Step 3
    Wash your blueberries, patting them dry then squeezing your lemon juice over the top. Pour berries on top of the batter.
  • Step 4
    Soften your remaining butter, then mix in your remaining sugars to make a crumble. Take this crumble mixture and place right on top of your blueberries.
  • Step 5
    Bake for one hour at 350 degrees and enjoy.
