1/2 ccrisco shortening
2 1/2 call purpose flour
2 1/2 tspbaking powder
1 cdrained blueberries
How to Make BLUEBERRY BUCKLE
- Cream shortening in bowl, add 1/2 cup sugar and egg Mix well. Sift 2 cups flour with salt and baking powder. add this to creamed shortening mixture. alternately with milk.
- Pour into greased 9inch round cake pan, sprinkle blueberries over batter. Combine remaining sugar, remaining flour and cinnamon in small bowl.
- cut in butter with pastry blender or two knives,until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of blueberries. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes or until cake is done.
