Ingredients
- 4 cups frozen blueberries (fresh when in season)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons light agave nectar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- FOR THE TOPPING:
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup chopped toasted slivered almonds (you can use regular or sliced)
- 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons light agave nectar
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar, optional
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons bourbon (plus more to drizzle)
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make blueberry desert

Step 1Coat blueberries in corn starch by giving them a toss in a bowl. When done, add in the remaining filling ingredients. Pour into an oven-safe baking dish (apx. 1 qt. size.)

Step 2Next, prepare topping by mixing together all the topping ingredients. Spread evenly over berries in baking dish.

Step 3Bake for 1 hour in a 375 oven. When cooked through, remove from oven and sprinkle additional bourbon on top. (Use as much or as little as you wish.) Allow to cool, then prepare to enjoy.
