i love blackberries, have fond memories of picking them. It is very rare anymore to get 2 cups of fresh black caps or blackberries, so when i do, i pig out!!! lol

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 1/2 teaspoons water
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cold butter or margarin
How To Make blackberry crisp

Step 1Place blackberries in a greased baking dish. small bowl combine the sugar, cornstarch, water and lemon juice until smooth. Pour over berries. ZCombine the oats, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon, cut in butter til crumbly. Sprinkle over berries. Bake uncovered at 375 for 20 to 25 min.
