- 3 1/2 - pint blackberries
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 - vanilla bean split and scraped
- 3 tablespoons fresh basil, minced
How To Make blackberries with mascarpone and basil

Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Step 2Place the blackberries at the bottom of a glass baking pan.

Step 3Mix the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla.

Step 4Spread over the top of the blackberries.

Step 5Bake for 10 minutes until the mascarpone is browned. Sprinkle basil and serve.
