Crockpot Recipe.This recipe was given to me by a friend in Pa. who is diabetic. I have made it many times for my sister and her family. It is very good.

- CRUST
- 1 cup flour
- six tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons sugar substitute
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- FILLING
- 2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
- 2 cups blackberries, fresh or frozen
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
- six tablespoon sugar
- 3 tablespoons sugar substitute

Step 1crust: Combine flour, six T sugar,sugar substitute, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Combine eggs, milk, and oil. Stir into dry ingredients until well moistened. Spread the batter evenly over the bottom of a greased 5 quart crock pot.

Step 2In saucepan, combine berries, water, orange peel, six T sugar,and sugar substitute. Bring o a boil. Remove from hea and pour over batter.

Step 3Cook on high for 2 to 2 and a half hours, or until a toothpick inserted into batter comes out clean. Turn off crosk pot. Uncover and let stand for 30 minutes before serving. Spoon from crockpot and serve with non fat whipped topping or ice cream if desired.
