This dessert came to pass after having leftover cranberries and apples from the holidays. What an awesome dessert. Make sure to add a scoop of ice cream to the warm fruity deliciousness.

How to Make ~ Berry Nice Apple Cranberry Pecan Bake ~

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

Grease a 2 quart baking dish, it worked out great in my oval dish with sides about 2 inches high.

Combine the sugar and cornstarch in a large bowl, toss with the apples and cranberries.
  2. Spread the cranberry mixture evenly into the dish, making sure sugar mixture is equally distributed over fruit.
In another bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, pecans, cinnamon and oats. Using a pastry blender, cut the butter in until crumbly mixture is formed.

Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the fruit.
  3. Place in oven and bake for 45 - 50 minutes or until golden and bubbly and apples are tender.
  4. Serve warm with ice cream.
