I saw this recipe years ago in a magazine (sure wish I could recall which one) and loved it from day one. For variation you can use frozen blueberries and peach combination. If you do use 12 oz. frozen bag of each and increase the flour to 4 Tablespoons and cinnamon to 1 teaspoon.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 - bags (12 oz. each) frozen mixed berries, thawed
- 32 - low fat vanilla wafers, crushed
- 3/4 cup low fat granola (no raisins)
- 2 tablespoons wheat germ (optional but good)
- 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
How To Make berry crisp

Step 1Pre heat oven to 350

Step 2Stir together flour and sugar. Add in the undrained berries and stir. Pour into an 8 inch square pan. (you may want to give the pan a light spray of Pam first, but not necessary)

Step 3Make a topping by mixing the crushed vanilla wafers with the remaining ingredients and sprinkle over the berries

Step 4Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly. (this is so good over vanilla ice cream!)
