Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar or splenda sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon light salt or salt
  • 1 cup butter or light butter
  • 2 1/2 cups frozen or fresh berries
  • 4 pounds golden delicious apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
  • - cinnamon to taste

How To Make berry-apple crunch

  • Step 1
    Combine 2 cups flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar or Splenda sugar and light salt in a bowl; cut in butter with pastry or a fork blender and mix until crumbly.
  • Step 2
    Combine the berries, apples, remaining 1/4 cup of flour and remaining sugar or Splenda sugar in a large bowl; toss to mix and spoon into a grease 13x9" baking pan.
  • Step 3
    Cover with flour mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes or until bubbly. Cool slightly before serving. Serve with berries, if desired. Serves 12.
