2 1/4 call purpose flour
2 1/2 csugar or splenda sugar
1/4 tsplight salt or salt
1 cbutter or light butter
2 1/2 cfrozen or fresh berries
4 lbgolden delicious apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
·cinnamon to taste
How to Make Berry-Apple Crunch
- Combine 2 cups flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar or Splenda sugar and light salt in a bowl; cut in butter with pastry or a fork blender and mix until crumbly.
- Combine the berries, apples, remaining 1/4 cup of flour and remaining sugar or Splenda sugar in a large bowl; toss to mix and spoon into a grease 13x9" baking pan.
- Cover with flour mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake at 350F for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
Cool slightly before serving. Serve with berries, if desired. Serves 12.
