banana bread cobbler
I found this recipe in a Southern Living Magazine. My goodness was it ever good! Add a dollop of whipped cream or vanilla ice cream to top it off. I never knew this but Southern Living tests their recipes three times by three different testers before they will post a recipe. No wonder it is so good.

Ingredients
- 1 cup self rising flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 4 - medium-size ripe bananas sliced
- - streusel topping
- - vanilla ice cream
How To Make banana bread cobbler

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 F. Whisk together flour and next 2 ingredients just until blended; whisk in melted butter. Pour into a lightly greased 11x7-inch dish. top with banana slices and sprinkle with streusel topping(recipe follows). Bake at 375 for 40-45 mintues or until golden brown and bubbly. Serve with ice cream.

Step 2Streusel Topping: 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar 1/2 cup self rising flour 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 cup uncooked regular oats 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Step 3Stir together brown sugar,flour and butter until crumbly, using a fork. Stir in oats and pecans.
