    green apples, cored and cut 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2
    bananas, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  • 1/3 c
    pineapple orange juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    rolled oats
  • 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    margarine, cut into small pieces
  • 1/4 c
    almonds, chopped, toasted

How to Make banana apple crisp

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine apples, bananas, pineapple orange juice, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg in 9x9 baking pan.
  2. Blend together the sugar, oats, flour and remaining 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
  3. Cut the margarine with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture is crumbly. Mix in almonds and sprinkle over fruit.
