Wanted to try making a new recipe with Puff Pastry. Turned out Delicious!

Ingredients
- 2 medium granny smith apples
- 1 sheet puff pastry sheet, thawed
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
How To Make apple strudel (jean's)

Step 1Thaw one sheet Puff Pastry. Let come to room temperature about 40 minutes.

Step 2Meanwhile wash and peel the apples. Slice thinly.

Step 3Mix cinnamon, sugar and flour in small bowl. Sprinkle over apples and mix gently.

Step 4When puff pastry is thawed, unfold on lightly dusted pastry sheet. Roll out with rolling pin to about an 11 inch square.

Step 5Transfer puff pastry to a parchment lined cookie sheet.

Step 6Add apples to the center of the puff pastry. On the outside edges of the pastry make diagonal slits about every 3/4 inch., on both sides

Step 7Then criss cross pastry over apples. Brush pastry with small amount of water. Sprinkle sugar over top. (I used Raw sugar)

Step 8Bake in 350º oven for about 40 minutes or until golden brown.
