How to Make Apple Streusel Wonton Rolls
- With a fork or pasta cutter mix together 1/2 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. room temp butter (not margarine), 1/3 c. flour and 2/3 c. crushed walnuts. You want a crumbly mixture.
- Once apples are tender and cool, add the amount you want in your wonton, the wontons I used were 8" ones and about 5 tbs. fit in each one. Seal the edge with egg wash. Once all are rolled, brush them with egg wash or olive oil or milk. Sprinkle or press streusel topping on top of each. Place on greased baking sheet. Bake 400° for about 12 min. I baked on the second to bottom rack for about 9 min. then placed on top rack for another 3-4 min. Baking time will vary from oven to oven.
Top with ice cream, cool whip or favorite topping and raisins.
