I've had this recipe for over 20yrs. It is still a favorite and always a hit when I take it to a church brunch or just serve it to family and friends. Its oh so easy to make!

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter or margarin
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/3 cup flaked coconut
- 1 can (20 oz.) apples or apple pie filling
- /2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 - egg
How To Make apple kuchen

Step 1Cut butter into dry cake mix until crumbly. Mix in coconut. Pat mixture lightly into 9"x13" pan, build up edges slightly. Bake at 350 Degrees for 10 min.

Step 2Arrange well drained apple slices on warm crust. Mix sugar and cinnamon together & sprinkle over apples. Mix sour cream & egg together. Drizzle over apples.(it will not cover.)

Step 3Bake for 25 min. or until edges are Lt. brown. DO NOT OVER BAKE. Enjoy
