I LOVE APPLE FRITTERS..THEY HAVE THEM AT 7-11 AND THEY ARE AMAZING. I WOULD DEFINITELY MAKE THESE FOR A NICE DESSERT OR SNACK FOR ALL THE BOYS THAT APPEAR AT MY HOUSE EVERY FRIDAY.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 5 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 2
    apples (peeled halved lengthwise cored and sliced 1/4 in thick)
  • ·
    confectioners' sugar, for dusting
  • 4 c
    vegetable oil

How to Make APPLE FRITTERS

Step-by-Step

  1. HEAT OIL TO 375F.
    STIR TOGETHER FLOUR, SUGAR, CINNAMON & SALT AND WHISK TO COMBINE.
  2. DIP APPLES IN BATTER, SHAKING OFF EXCESS, AND FRY, ABOUT 8 AT A TIME, UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN, ABOUT 1/2 MINUTE ON EACH SIDE.
  3. TRANSFER FRITTERS WITH A SLOTTED SPOON TO PAPER TOWELS TO DRAIN.
  4. SERVE WARM, DUST WITH CONFECTIONERS'SUGAR, OR DIP IN HONEY.
