Ingredients
- 2 - apples, granny smith (large)
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
- 1 cup butter (not margarine!)
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 12 ounces mountain dew (1 can)
- 1 - handful of sliced pecans
How To Make apple dumplings

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease 9x13 baking dish

Step 2Cut and core apple into 8 slices and set aside.

Step 3Separate crescent roll dough triangles. Starting at either end, preferably the smaller end, begin to roll and wrap the apple wedges. Pinch to seal and place in greased baking dish

Step 4melt butter on low-medium heat in medium sized saucepan. Once butter is melted, stir in white sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and sliced pecans

Step 5Once ingredients are stirred and pecans are coated well, pour over the apple dumplings. Coat them well!

Step 6Pour Mountain Dew over apple dumplings.

Step 7Place in oven and bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown color appears
