apples, granny smith (large)
2 can(s)
refrigerated crescent rolls
1 c
butter (not margarine!)
1 c
white sugar
1/2 c
brown sugar, lightly packed
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
12 oz
mountain dew (1 can)
handful of sliced pecans

How to Make Apple Dumplings


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and grease 9x13 baking dish
  • 2Cut and core apple into 8 slices and set aside.
  • 3Separate crescent roll dough triangles. Starting at either end, preferably the smaller end, begin to roll and wrap the apple wedges. Pinch to seal and place in greased baking dish
  • 4melt butter on low-medium heat in medium sized saucepan. Once butter is melted, stir in white sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and sliced pecans
  • 5Once ingredients are stirred and pecans are coated well, pour over the apple dumplings. Coat them well!
  • 6Pour Mountain Dew over apple dumplings.
  • 7Place in oven and bake for 35-45 minutes or until golden brown color appears
