Ingredients

  • 2 - Granny Smith apples
  • 2 sticks Margarine
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 can (small) Mountain Dew
  • 2 cans Refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • - Cinnamon

How To Make apple dumplings

  • Step 1
    Peel and core apples. Cut each apple into 8 wedges. Roll each wedge in crescent roll section.
  • Step 2
    Place in a 13x9x2 inch pan. Melt margarine; add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir and pour over apples. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with desired amount of cinnamon.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream. Spoon some of the sweet sauce from the pan over each serving.
