These taste so good especially in the winter time. Top off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a very warm and comforting flavor.

Ingredients

Granny Smith apples
2 stick
Margarine
1 tsp
Vanilla extract
1 can(s)
(small) Mountain Dew
2 can(s)
Refrigerated crescent rolls
1 1/2 c
Sugar
Cinnamon

How to Make Apple Dumplings

Step-by-Step

  • 1Peel and core apples. Cut each apple into 8 wedges. Roll each wedge in crescent roll section.
  • 2Place in a 13x9x2 inch pan. Melt margarine; add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir and pour over apples. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with desired amount of cinnamon.
  • 3Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream. Spoon some of the sweet sauce from the pan over each serving.
