These taste so good especially in the winter time. Top off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a very warm and comforting flavor.

Ingredients

  • 2
    Granny Smith apples
  • 2 stick
    Margarine
  • 1 tsp
    Vanilla extract
  • 1 can(s)
    (small) Mountain Dew
  • 2 can(s)
    Refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 1/2 c
    Sugar
  • ·
    Cinnamon

How to Make Apple Dumplings

Step-by-Step

  1. Peel and core apples. Cut each apple into 8 wedges. Roll each wedge in crescent roll section.
  2. Place in a 13x9x2 inch pan. Melt margarine; add sugar and barely stir. Add vanilla, stir and pour over apples. Pour Mountain Dew around the edges of the pan. Sprinkle with desired amount of cinnamon.
  3. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Serve with ice cream. Spoon some of the sweet sauce from the pan over each serving.
