2 can(s)pillsbury crescent rolls

2granny smith apples peeled and sliced into 8 wedges

1 1/2 csugar

2 stickunsalted butter

1 can(s)mountain dew, sprite or 7-up soda

How to Make Apple Dumplings
- Peel and slice each apple into 8 wedges. Wrap each wedge in one crescent roll triangle, beginning with the wide end of the triangle. Place the dough wrapped apple wedges, seam side down, in a 9x13 baking dish that has been lightly sprayed with Pam. Melt the butter and sugar together in a saucepan and pour the mixture over the crescent wrapped apple wedges. Pour 1 can of Mountain Dew over the wedges then sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 45 - 50 minutes. Serve with ice cream or whip cream.
