    baking apples variety
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1 c
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/3 c
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts optional, our favorite is walnuts

How to Make Apple Dessert


  1. Butter glass baking dish.
  2. Peel, core and cut apples into thin slices. Place in buttered baking dish and coat with granulated sugar.
  3. Mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts in a separate bowl. Sprinkle on top of sliced apples. I add extra thin slices of butter on top :0)
  4. Bake for 30 minutes in 350 degree oven, enjoy!!! Serve with vanilla ice cream, delicious....
