This was in our church recipe book so I tried it and it was a keeper. It's really good.

Ingredients

  • ·
    6 to 8 apples, sliced
  • 1 stick
    butter or margarine
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    chopped nuts, optional

How to Make Apple Delight

Step-by-Step

  1. Place apples in a greased dish. Blend sugar, flour, butter, cinnamon & nuts, if used. Work to crumble dough & pack on top of apples.
  2. Bake @ 375 for 45 to 60 minutes. If apples appear dry, just add some water. (I've never had to add water.)
