I've always LOVED Apple Crisp! I got this recipe from my friend, Anita E., around 1977 when we were next-door neighbors. I later experimented & discovered the crisp was perfect with cherry pie filling hiding under it instead of apples. Then came the day I only had 2 1/2 cups of apple slices, but I did have a can of cherry pie filling, so the Cherry Apple Crisp hybrid was born. =^..^=
