How to Make Apple Crisp on the Grill
- Peel apples. Slice and put in a greased 9x9 foil or metal pan. Stir in 1/4 cup of the brown sugar.
Combine remaining brown sugar, oatmeal, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg. Cut in margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.
- Place pan in center of cooking grill. Cook 35 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp.
Serve warm with ice cream.
- I usually combine the ingredients ahead of time before I grill the main meal.
Just before everyone finishes their meal I throw this on the grill to cook.
