Ingredients

  • 6-7 cups sliced apples
  • 3/4-1 cup sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1-2 tablespoon flour
  • 1/2 cup butter, cold
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1-2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

How To Make apple crisp

  • Step 1
Butter a 9x13 pan and fill with peeled and sliced apples. Mix 1 cup sugar, cinnamon and 2 T. flour and stir into the apples.
  • Step 2
Whisk the remaining dry ingredients together, add vanilla, then cut in the cold butter until mix resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over the apples.
  • Step 3
Bake 350 degrees for about an hour or until bubbly and golden.
  • Step 4
I like to use a variety of 3 apples when I make this or any other apple dish. Braeburn, granny smith and honey crisp or cortland are all good ! Serve warm with ice cream or cheese!
