My hubby bought a bag of green apples and they were so sour. I thought i should try something to make with these apples, I used the ingredients I had on hand, this came out and was not bad at all for someone who is not a baker.

Ingredients

  • 3 c
    sliced peeled green apple
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    apple cider
  • 1 1/2 c
    bisquick mix
  • 1/3 c
    milk

How to Make Apple Crisp

Step-by-Step

  1. Pre heat over 350 degrees, layer half the apples in a small rectangular baking dish
  2. Sprinkle 1 tsp of cinnamon and 1 tbsp of sugar over the first layer of apples
  3. layer the remaining apples sprinkle the remaining cinnamon and sugar over the apples
  4. pour the apple cider over the apples in the dish and place small pieces of 1 tbls of butter around the apples
  5. melt one stick of butter, add the butter, milk to the bisquick mix, stir until a batter is made, spoon the batter over the apples
  6. bake for 50 - 55 mins, serve warm with some vanilla ice cream
