apple cranberry crisp
My German brother-in-law loves any dessert with apples. So when he comes over or when I go to visit him, my sister-in-law and I make this yummy dessert! Sometimes I add crushed amaretto cookies to the top of the crisp for an Italian twist. :)
Blue Ribbon Recipe
An apple cranberry crisp full of all the flavors of fall. Simple to throw together, make this crisp anytime you need an easy dessert. The sweet apples are tender and a nice contrast to the tart cranberries. Sprinkled on top is a buttery topping filled with oats, brown sugar, butter, and spices. Once baked, it's nice and crisp. Serve alone or with a scoop of ice cream. Both are fantastic!
