4-5 largeapples, any sweet and juicy variety
1 stickreal sweet cream butter, melted
1/2 cwhite sugar
1/2 clight brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 csour cream
1 ccake flour
1 tspbaking powder
1/8 tspground cloves
How to Make Apple Cobbler
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Peel, core and cube apples.
Melt butter and pour into bottom of an 8x11 inch pan. Place apples on top of butter.
- In a small bowl whisk together cake flour, baking powder, nutmeg, ginger and ground cloves. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl combine white sugar, brown sugar, milk and sour cream, whisk until smooth. Add cake flour mixture and whisk until smooth. Slowly pour batter evenly over apples.
- Bake in a 375 degree oven for 30 to 45 minutes or until light golden brown.
