Ingredients

  • 3 large
    granny smith apples ( or any apples you like... i mixed them... grannies, honeycrisps and macs)
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar, lightly packed
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon

How to Make Apple Cobbler

Step-by-Step

  1. Put apples in the bottom of a lightly greased 8x8 inch baking dish.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and egg until it looks like coarse cornmeal.
  3. Sprinkle topping over the apples.
  4. Pour melted butter over the entire dish.
  5. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with vanilla ice cream and/or caramel sauce.
  7. For an extra crunch you can add some chopped walnuts.
