    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 c
    light brown sugar
  • 2 stick
    butter, softened
  • 3
    8 oz pkgs light cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 c
    plus 2 tbsp sugar, divided
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3
    granny smith apples, peeled, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/2 c
    quick-cooking oats
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 1/2 c
    caramel sauce

How To Make apple cheesecake bars w/ caramel sauce

    Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish w/ cooking spray. In bowl combine 1 cup flour, 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Cut in 2 sticks butter until crumbly. Press into bottom of baking dish.

    Bake until light brown, about 15 mins. Remove baking dish from oven. In lg bowl, beat cream cheese w/ 3/4 cup sugar until smooth. Add in eggs and vanilla, beat to combine. Pour mix over crust.

    In another bowl, stir together apples, 2 tbsp sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spoon over cream cheese mix. In another bowl, combine 1 cup brow sugar, 1 cup flour, oats and 1 stick butter. Mix thoroughly to combine. Spoon mix over apple mix. Bake 40-45 mins, or until set. Drizzle w/ caramel sauce.
