Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 2 sticks butter, softened
- 3 - 8 oz pkgs light cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup plus 2 tbsp sugar, divided
- 3 large eggs
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 - granny smith apples, peeled, finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
How To Make apple cheesecake bars w/ caramel sauce

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish w/ cooking spray. In bowl combine 1 cup flour, 1 cup whole wheat flour and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Cut in 2 sticks butter until crumbly. Press into bottom of baking dish.

Step 2Bake until light brown, about 15 mins. Remove baking dish from oven. In lg bowl, beat cream cheese w/ 3/4 cup sugar until smooth. Add in eggs and vanilla, beat to combine. Pour mix over crust.

Step 3In another bowl, stir together apples, 2 tbsp sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Spoon over cream cheese mix. In another bowl, combine 1 cup brow sugar, 1 cup flour, oats and 1 stick butter. Mix thoroughly to combine. Spoon mix over apple mix. Bake 40-45 mins, or until set. Drizzle w/ caramel sauce.
