These apple burritos are an easy-to-make fall dessert. They're a cross between a sopapilla and a mini apple pie. The combination of buttery tortillas mixed with tart and sweet apples is an explosion of flavors in your mouth.

Ingredients
- 6 large apples, peeled, chopped (or use canned apple pie filling, heated)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons corn starch
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice, optional
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 cup butter
- 8 - flour tortillas
How To Make apple burritos

Step 1Mix apples and sugar in a saucepan. Add water to cover. Simmer until tender.

Step 2Blend corn starch, 2 Tbsp water, and spices in a small bowl.

Step 3Stir into apples. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. If using apple pie filling, just heat in pot on top of stove until warm.

Step 4Soften tortillas 1 at a time in butter in skillet for several seconds on each side.

Step 5Spoon 1/4 cup apples on each.

Step 6Roll to enclose filling.

Step 7Place seam side down on ovenproof serving plate or baking pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Step 8Broil until light brown. Serve with sour cream, yogurt, or a scoop of ice cream when serving for dessert.
