Mix apples and sugar in saucepan. Add water to cover. Simmer until tender. Blend cornstarch, 2 tbsp. water, and spices in small bowl. Stir into apples. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. If using apple pie filling, just heat in pot on top of stove until warm. This is the method I use. Soften tortillas 1 at a time in butter in skillet for several seconds on each side. Spoon 1/4 cut apples on each; roll to enclose filling. Place seam side down on ovenproof serving plate or baking pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar. Broil until light brown. Serve with Sour Cream or Yogurt or with a scoop of ice cream when serving for dessert.
