  • 3/4 c
    butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 c
  • 2
  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 c
    apples, chopped
  • 1 c
    walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Apple Brownies


  1. Cream butter; gradually adding sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, beating well. Combine flour, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt. Add to creamed mixture, stirring well. Stir in apples and walnuts. Spoon mixture into greased 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Bake at 350* for 35 minutes. Cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
