How to Make Apple Brown Betty
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Arrange slices in the bottom of a 9X12 inch baking pan
- Sprinkle with cinnamon
- Mix flour and brown sugar together. Cut in butter until crumbly and set aside
- SYRUP: Combine the ingredients for syrup and stir until well blended.
- Drizzle half of the syrup over the apples.
- Top with butter crumb mixture and pour the remaining syrup on top.
- Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
