I don't know the source of this recipe as I picked it off Facebook, but was one of the easiest, quickest and best tasting cobblers I have tried. I used one bag blackberries plus one bag mixed fruit (blueberries, raspberries, strawberries) You may also use a canned fruit such as peaches in heavy syrup, using the same directions

prep time 5 Min
cook time 50 Min
method Bake
yield 12-15 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix (no pudding)
  • 1/4 cup sugar (optional) may take less sugar, or none, according to tartness of berries.
  • 2/12oz bag frozen blackberries or mixed fruit
  • 1 /12oz can 7 up or any clear drink...sundrop, sierra mist...etc

How To Make 1 2 3 blackberry cobbler

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step 2
Put berries into 9 X 13 baking dish. If desired for sour berries, add sugar on top. Sprinkle box of cake mix on top of berries evenly. Pour drink over top of mix.
  • Step 3
Do not stir; top will not crisp and will be soft if stirred. Bake 45-50 min, until browned.
