double chocolate pound cake
Came across this recipe about 35 years ago while visiting my in-laws. Picked up their very thin newspaper to read (which I normally didn't do) and found this recipe. It has been a MAJOR FAVORITE in our household ever since. My husband usually requests it for his birthday cake. It takes less than an hour from start to finish. Very moist !!

Ingredients
- 1 package super moist chocolate fudge cake mix (betty crocker)
- 2/3 cup water
- 3 - eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup miniature chocolate chips
How To Make double chocolate pound cake

Step 1Beat cake mix, water, eggs and sour cream on low speed until well blended; then on medium speed for 2 minutes. Fold in chips by hand. Pour into greased and floured 12-cup bundt or tube pan. Bake at 350º for 40 minutes. (do the toothpick test to make sure it’s done) Cool 10 minutes in pan then invert on serving plate. ( I use Pam cooking spray in bundt pan)
