This is so simple and so good. I got it from a friend who was from England. It is perfect for me since I am allergic to all poultry. Even if I wasn't I would still love it.

Ingredients

8 Tbsp
rice, uncooked
7 Tbsp
sugar
1 pt
table cream or half and half
1 pt
milk
3 Tbsp
butter
nutmeg

How to Make Rice Pudding (No Eggs)

Step-by-Step

  • 1Put rice, sugar, cream and milk in a two quart casserole pan and stir together.
  • 2Slice the butter and dot the top of the mixture with the butter. Shake ground or freshly grated nutmeg on top. You can use quite a bit of nutmeg, it just makes it better.
  • 3Bake at 300 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Enjoy!
