Ingredients

1/4 c
butter
1/2 c
sugar
1 tsp
grated lemon rind
2
egg yolks
3 Tbsp
lemon juice
2 Tbsp
all purpose flour
1/4 c
post grape nuts cereal
1 c
milk
2
egg whites, stiffly beaten

How to Make Puff Pudding

Step-by-Step

  • 1Cream butter with sugar and lemon rind. Add egg yolks and beat until light and fluffy.
  • 2Blend in lemon juice,flour,cereal and milk. It will look curdled.
  • 3Fold in beaten egg whites. Pour into greased 1 quart baking dish and place the dish in pan of hot water.
  • 4Bake 325 degrees oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until top springs back when touched.
  • 5For individual puddings pour mixture into 5 5-ounce or 4 6-ounce custard cups. Bake for 40 minutes
