delicious pineapple souffle

I had a loaf of Italian bread needing used up, so this is what I threw together. Just scrumptious! So easy...this would be great for any occasion. I served with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon...enjoy! My photos

Ingredients

  • 1 - 20 ounces can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 stick butter,melted
  • 4 - eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 8 - 9 cups 1/2 inch, cubed bread
  • sprinke - or 2 of ground cinnamon

How To Make delicious pineapple souffle

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 30 degree F. Spray a 9 inch casserole dish with non stick cooking spray. Drain pineapple. Cube your bread.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl; mix eggs, sugar, drained pineapple, cinnamon and melted butter.
  • Step 3
    Mix the pineapple mixture with the bread, and let set till all of the liquid is absorbed.
  • Step 4
    Pour into prepared casserole dish. Sprinkle with cinnamon and bake for 55 - 60 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Serve warm with a glaze or dollop of whipped cream. Enjoy!
